Ein Weihnachtsbaum

A Christmas tree

In our family we put the Christamstree up not before the 24th. When I was little the first time I was allowed to see the decorated tree was after mass. It was alle the magic of Christmas in that one moment when I entered the livingroom and saw the sparkling tree. I still don't like a Christmastree in the house before the 24th.

In unserer Familie wird der Weihnachtsbaum nicht vor dem 24. aufgestellt und geschmückt. Als ich noch klein war, durfte ich den Baum erst nach der Messe sehen. Dieser Moment war weihnachtlicher Zauber. Bis heute mag ich es nicht, wenn der Baum vor dem 24. in der Wohnung ist.
