Refashioning

Vor einiger Zeit habe ich ja schon angefangen unser "Wohnzimmer" (in " ", da das Wohnzimmer nur einen kleinen Teil unseres Arbeitszimmers ausmacht) umzugestalten. Heute habe ich den freien Tag genutzt alles etwas vorwärts zu bringen.

A while ago I started remodeling our "livingroom" ("room" is a bit much... it's the smaler part of our studyroom). I used today to get it a bit further going.

There on the fas right you can see the first shelfs from the "study" area.

Ganz rechts im Bild sieht man schon das erste Regal aus dem Arbeitszimmerbereich.

I'm still working on a quilt in the grey-black-white coulour scheme and more pictures for the walls...but so far I'm really happy with it.

In arbeit ist gerade noch ein Quilt in Grau-Schwarz-Weiß-Tönen. Außerdem brauche ich unbedingt noch mehr Bilder! Aber bisher bin ich doch sehr zufrieden!

Produktives Wochenende

I had a productive weekend. I spend half of saturday studying (yeah, I'm so proud of myself :)) and then got my sewingmachine out.

I worked on my big secret project. I also had some time to work on my not at all secret project to change the coulors of our livingroom. Out of an old blouse I made pillowcases. That is really great because you don't have to sew buttons and buttonholes :)

Nachdem ich den halben Samstag gelernt habe, habe ich am Nachmittag meine Nähmaschine ausgepackt und am großen geheimen Projekt weiter gearbeitet.... und auch etwas Zeit gefunden am überhaupt nicht geheimen Projekt "Farbänderung im Wohnzimmer" zu arbeiten. Aus einer alten Bluse habe ich Kissen Bezüge gemacht. Das tolle daran ist, dass ich keine Knöpfe mehr an- und keine Knopflöcher mehr nähen musste.
