IMAGINE Central Park New York

Mein letzter Aufenthalt in New York City ist leider schon wieder viel zu lange her, umso mehr hänge ich noch an all meinen Erinnerungen aus der Zeit, in der ich in New York gelebt habe. Mit meiner Liebe für diese einzigartige Stadt habe ich meine liebe Ina angesteckt. Sie hat mich ein paar mal besucht und sich genau wie ich in diese Stadt verliebt. Zu ihrem Geburtstag gibt es deshalb natürlich etwas New York City inspiriertes. Ihr kennt bestimmt alle das Mosaik im Central Park.

My last trip to New York City is too long ago. I still love the time I used to live in New York. Best time ever! With my love for that great city I'm not alone. My dear Ina fell in Love with NYC during her many visits. For her birthday there is a NYC inspired present. Everyone know the Mosaik in Central Park, right!?!?!

In wahnsinniger Kleinst-Arbeit habe ich versucht das Mosaik zusammenzunähen. Daraus entstanden ist das Imagine-Kissen.

In hours of piecing little and littlest fabrik pieces I made a pillow for her.

Zuerst habe ich das Mosaik zusammengenäht und gepusselt. dieses habe ich dann auf einen selbst genähten Kissenbezug appliziert und die Schrift hinzugefügt. 

After piecing the fabric I appliqued it on to the pillow case and added the writing.

My parents asked for pillowcases for christmas. Well their wish is my comand ;) 

Meine Eltern haben sich Kissenbezüge zu Weihnachten gewünscht. Ihr Wunsch ist mir Befehl ;)

Produktives Wochenende

I had a productive weekend. I spend half of saturday studying (yeah, I'm so proud of myself :)) and then got my sewingmachine out.

I worked on my big secret project. I also had some time to work on my not at all secret project to change the coulors of our livingroom. Out of an old blouse I made pillowcases. That is really great because you don't have to sew buttons and buttonholes :)

Nachdem ich den halben Samstag gelernt habe, habe ich am Nachmittag meine Nähmaschine ausgepackt und am großen geheimen Projekt weiter gearbeitet.... und auch etwas Zeit gefunden am überhaupt nicht geheimen Projekt "Farbänderung im Wohnzimmer" zu arbeiten. Aus einer alten Bluse habe ich Kissen Bezüge gemacht. Das tolle daran ist, dass ich keine Knöpfe mehr an- und keine Knopflöcher mehr nähen musste.

Eigentlich...

lerne ich ja grade.... Aber irgendwie ist es draußen so dunkel und Europarecht grad sehr langweilig und die Motivation schon im Urlaub...*keine 2 Wochen mehr und ich bin in der Sonne Uruguays :) *... da dachte ich mir ich mach mal kurz was anderes und zeige euch, was ich letztes Wochenende so gemacht hab:

well... I should be studying right now...but it's just so cold and dark outside, European law is quite boring today and my motivation is already on vacation *not even 2 more weeks and I'm in the sun of Uruguay :) *....I just thought I'll make a little studybreak and show you what I did over the weekend:

Two little bags for some special friends. 2 kleine Täschchen für ganz besondere Leute!
Und ein Kissenbezug für einen meiner Lieblingsmenschen. And a Pillowcase for one of my favourite people!
Pillowcase with a little stuffed owl for cuddeling. Und zum kuscheln ne kleine Kuscheleule :)

Okay...ich geh dann mal weiterlernen....
