Football-Fußball-Soccer....

While world-cup-madness is all around me studying doesn't come easy (not that it ever does!)... honking cars everywhere, vuvuzela-trumpet playing neigbours and the summer-heat.... Well i must admit I do watch a few games manly the German and Uruguayan ones. Watching soccer on TV is really good to get some handsewing done. Those finishing touches to my projects... I was organizing some fabric one night and found a really great piece of fabric. So after my study-session for the day was over I made this: all during the Uruguay game last night (not all by hand just the finishing touches, but I'm okay with having my sewingmashine running while watching TV... a luxery i only get when watching bymyself.... I really can't understand why someone would mind the nice sound of the mashine ;) )

Mit all dem Weltmeisterschaftswahnsinn um mich herum, hupende Autos, Vuvuzela trötende Nachbarn und diese Hitze... wirklich nicht grade lernfördernd. Aber was solls, was in meinen Kopf rein muss muss halt auch bei Weltmeisterschaft und Hitze rein!
Ich schaue mir schon ein paar Spiele an, vor allem Deutschland und Uruguay Spiele. Dabei kann man zwar echt nicht lernen, aber ich kann ein paar meiner Projekte den letzten Schliff mit etwas handgenähtem geben. Letztens hab ich beim aufräumen einen wunderschönen Stoff gefunden und ihn dann gestern während des Uruguay Spiels in einen Rock verwandelt. Natürlich ist der nicht ganz mit der Hand genäht, so lang war das Spiel auch wieder nicht. Ich hab eigentlich kein Problem beim Fernsehen meine Nähmaschine zu benutzen, darf ich aber nur, wenn ich alleine schaue (echt komisch wen kann schon dieses Geräusch stören??? ;) ) .
