Starting now......

I decided to make my blog bilingual (doesn't sound bad ;) ). Afterall I want my non-german friends to enjoy my site just as much as anyone else!

Ich habe mich entschieden meinen Blog zweisprching zu gestalten. Meine nicht-deutschen freunde sollen sich hier ja genauso amüsieren wie alle anderen!

Da ich alles bisher veröffentliche nicht nochmal übersetzen will gibts eine kleine Zusammenfassung. Damit es in Zukunft einfacher ist : rot auf Deutsch (oder was ich dafür halte ;)) und grün für die englischen Texte!

I don't want to translate everything I allready posted....so here a little summary! Hope you enjoy! (all English Texts are green and German ones red)

After years of not really using my sewingmachine I found that sewing and being creative is great to relax after hours of studying.

So I started a few months ago with a big project. I wanted to sew a patchwork-baby-blanket for my cousin who is having a baby soon (oh, I'm so excited, I feel like we're still those little girls playing with dolls...and now she'e going to be a real Mama!!!).

Well let's say it didn't go that easy with the project ans I hid it in my closet for weeks...then my sewingmachine didn't work the way it was supposed to..... but after a while I fixed it (yes I did! All by myself!!!!).

You can see the fruit of my hard work in the pictures in my 2 first posts!

This weekend I used my very last bit of fabric an sewed a little crown for my goddaughter.

Now I have to do real hard studying for the next weeks...hopefully I'll find time to be more creative during these weeks.....

I just ordered new fabric...for now I can just study and wait for new sewing material :)
